We follow a proven process for site construction
Assessment of projectBuilding a website is like any other construction project, you cannot begin before you define what it will contain, who will be using it, and how you plan to maintain it.
Creative brief / Project PlanThe Creative brief for any project will cover the following concepts:
Phase 1: StructureOnce the basic architecture and authoring environment has been selected, we can address the creation of the structure that will hold the site together.
Phase 2: Content populationOnce the basic structure has been set and published to the development location we insert the content as it is made available.
Phase 3: Adjustements for inserted contentOnce the “live” content has been inserted into the structure, it is possible that some minor adjustments to color scheme, page layout, or typography styling will be desired.
Phase 4: Migration to “live” locationOnce the structure has been set, the content has been generated and inserted, and any “fine-tuning” has been orchestrated, it is time to migrate the site from the development location to the client’s hosting location.
Phase 5: Site expansion & upkeepAfter the site has been migrated to the “live” location, we will provide documentation on how the site is constructed and advice on how to maintain and expand it.
